The sun was bright and hot on this Memorial Day. Another scorcher. I was at the park celebrating a friends birthday so naturally I took my easel along. The park was packed and all the shady areas were taken up by the locals. It was a good day to grill and play volleyball or people watch under the massive tree. Due to the sun my washes were drying extremely fast so I had to paint with purpose and speed. A spray bottle in my left hand kept the painting from going belly up.
